Macao, 1883 (1 May) small envelope (opened out for display) to Lisbon (11.6), showing on reverse very fine "Pago em Macao" Crowned Circle in black, with matching "Crown/Macao" c.d.s. and Lisbon arrival c.d.s. alongside and "Per Fr. Packet" framed h.s. on front, envelope a little trimmed at top, couple small light ink marks and very slight ageing on address panel, fine, late usage of the very rare crowned circle on envelope unusually carried by French packet rather than P&O Steamer. A neat and splendid exhibition item.
