Lot 43 China, 1878 Large Dragon 5ca. orange, Setting I, a reconstructed/rejoined complete sheet of twenty-five with selvedge all round, comprising block of ten (5 x 2) from the top of the sheet, the adjoining block of eight (4 x 2) from the right of the sheet and horizontal strip of five from the foot of the sheet, in all 23 of the 25 stamps are apparently from the same sheet, while the other two singles [11] and [16] from a different sheet have been inserted to complete the reconstruction, the stamps from the original sheet are fine unused with much original gum, heavy hinge reinforcement, a few light tone spots mainly confined to reverse, overall fine and fresh.
