Lot 3338 Taiwan, 1886 Official first issue (-) black on native wove paper, worn impression, an unused reconstructed sheet of five, stamps with same red ideograph characters in red, uniform inking, impressions and toning, two stamps at right form a vertical pair when rejoined and neighbouring stamp to the left shows overlapping impression of its right frame line to the rejoined vertical pair, top right stamp also shows slight doubling at top, a few small holes and considerable ageing, nevertheless a rare and remarkable reconstructed sheet of the first plate.
